On Tues. evening, May 10, 2016, the Fort White High/Middle School Parknership Award Celebration took place in the Middle School cafeteria. The huge crowd filled the entire room.
Among the seven sponsors was Our Santa Fe River, and President Pam Smith was at the podium with Trini Johannesen to present a check for $1000.
The Parknership Program allows Middle School students to travel on field trips to parks and other venues to learn first hand important aspects of nature, our environment and science. This celebration marked the successful completion of 13 years in the program.
Our congratulations to all those who make this fine program function.
