The Bradford County Board of Commissioners met this morning, August 1, 2016 in Starke and conducted business as usual. Your OSFR historian spoke briefly requesting an up-grade on the Land Development Regulations in order to prohibit any mine placed near the New or Santa Fe River. No other reference was made to the phosphate mine by public comment or by county officials.
Paul Still spoke briefly regarding the Chemours mine and an up-coming permit which will be required.
