Please come to the City of High Springs Commissioners meeting on October 27, Thursday at 6:30 pm to support OSFR in requesting that the city help Alachua and Union Counties in their opposition to the proposed phosphate mine in Bradford County.  We are on the agenda and President Pam Smith will present our request to the mayor and commissioners.

Address is City Hall, 23718 W US HWY 27, one block west of the traffic light on Hwy.27

You may speak if you wish, but it is not necessary as  your presence is valuable to show support for our request.  It is likely we will also have formal support from the Green Party and Sierra Club and hopefully others from Union and Bradford.
