We have received the following notice from the Floridians Against Fracking Coalition.  We have made the call and urge you to do so also.   We have a great beginning to stop fracking this session.  Please keep up the momentum and let’s get rid of this unnecessary, destructive practice.

Although the weather outside is frightful, the fracking fight is still quite delightful! We are kicking the new year off with a statewide action to push the ban fracking bill, SB462 through committee early in the legislative session, which starts on Tuesday, January 9th.

Senator Rob Bradley is a key senator. He held up the ban fracking bill in his committee last session. We need to make sure he hears from us loud and clear and brings the ban fracking bill for a vote in his committee.

This call-in week of action marks the beginning of a series of actions calling on Senator Bradley to bring the ban fracking bill up for a vote in his committee. On the last day of the call-in, Thursday, January 11th, Floridians will meet in Orange Park to call on Senator Bradley to do the right thing and be a hero to ban fracking.

We need you to do three things:
1. Call Senator Rob Bradley at 1-866-582-4813. When you reach a staff person or get a voicemail, please say:

“My name is [NAME], and I live in [CITY]. I am calling to urge Senator Bradley to be a true environmental champion and ensure that Senate Bill 462 is heard and passed in both of his committees. Please ban fracking to protect our water.”

2. Share this email and the facebook event [FACEBOOK LINK] with your groups, email lists and contacts over the next few days.
Support Residents of North Central Florida as they assemble in Orange Park to project the Bradley Signal by sharing a meme of the signal, linked here.

Together we will ban fracking in 2018!
