Crist signs controversial water bill into law, adds one odd request

Governor Charlie Crist signed a controversial water bill into law last week despite many newspapers, environmental groups and citizens calling for him to veto the bill.
The governor received more than 3,243 letters, e-mails and phone calls asking him to veto the bill and only 80 calls for support of the bill, said Sterling Ivey, press secretary for Crist.
