The public may speak to the board regarding the district’s approval of the new MFLs which call for an 11 per cent drawdown of this river. The drawdown would seem to allow more water pumping in order to accommodate more population and industry in the basin. The river is already much reduced from its historic flows, around 58 per cent, according to non-biased scientists, a fact ignored and disregarded by district scientists. Come to this meeting and tell the board that they must not allow further damage to this river.
