Occasionally they do run an article giving most of the truth, such as the huge settlement in Pennsylvania of contamination of wells.
At any rate, one can surmise that this most likely is because the industry is feeling the pinch and pressure from all the bad press that fracking has received, and continues to receive as time goes on and more and more facts come to light. They are becoming more defensive.
