The group concerned for the future and well-being of the county park at Rum Island met Tues. June 5 for the third time. The meeting was well-attended with several new people. A lively discussion ensued, touching on many aspects of the park. Much of the talk centered on what the group’s approach should be to the Columbia County commissioners, as they hold the future of the park in their hands.
Since Merrillee has extensive and detailed notes on the topics discussed, we will avoid repetition and add this link to her post.
