FUNKOWEEN TONIGHT AT RUM 138, Oct. 31, 2019

funkoween In: FUNKOWEEN TONIGHT AT RUM 138, Oct. 31, 2019 | Our Santa Fe River, Inc. | Protecting the Santa Fe River in North Florida

Everyone is invited to 2019’s best Halloween party and costume contest with live music at Rum 138, 7-11 pm.  Dirty Bird and the Flu will be playing funky-blues-soul-fusion born straight out of the South Georgia swamps. The costume contest will have cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25.

Admission for this family friendly event is $15 with ages 12 and under free (children must be accompanied by an adult). Creepy decorations and frightening props will be provided by Madness and Mayhem, so it may be a bit too scary for younger children.

Food and beverages (including beer and wine) will be on sale with half of the proceeds donated to Madness and Mayhem, Inc. to be distributed to local charities.

Madness and Mayhem, Inc. creators Terry and Andy Phelan have graciously decided to donate proceeds from this benefit equally to OSFR and Sunrise Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of High Springs, a non-profit all-volunteer organization for the rescue and rehabilitation of injured or displaced native wildlife, directed by Nan Soistman.
Come to the party tonight, have fun and help these worth-while charities.
