Gainesville Sun Opinion Editor Nathan Crabbe visits OSFR board at monthly board meeting, ironically on the very day he published an editorial recommending board member Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson as an appointee to the Suwannee River Water Management District.
Nathan Crabbe and the Gainesville Sun have always been strong supporters of the environment and, consequently, of OSFR. We have published many editorials in the Sun, and posted many environmental articles taken from its pages.
Also, as irony would have it, our special guest visited the board the first time in our history we had not mustered a quorum, with only four board members present. As a result, we had no official meeting and spent the entire time with an informal, interesting discussion with the editor.
Our sincere thanks to Nathan Crabbe for his informative visit and for the great work he and his paper do for our common mission.
