Subject: UPCOMING PUBLIC WORKSHOPS FOR GILCHRIST BLUE SPRINGS STATE PARK

Hello,

We are very excited to recognize Gilchrist Blue Springs as Florida’s 175th State Park! Our newest State Park is located in Gilchrist County, near the town of High Springs, FL. The park contains six natural springs and includes approximately one mile of frontage along the beautiful Santa Fe River. This nearly 400-acre addition to the Florida State Park system will offer Florida residents and visitors the opportunity to explore and enjoy an exemplary natural setting.

WE WANT YOU TO HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE DIRECTION OF THE PARK!

Future recreational opportunities at this park are being explored and the Florida Park Service wants your help in discovering the potential at Gilchrist Blue Springs. Two public workshops are being held to serve as a forum for the public to provide input on the future management of Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park:

MEETING DATE: Thursday, November 30, 2017, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
