Help stop Nestle/One Rock Capital — Reciprocate Our Colorado Support

Help stop Nestle/One Rock Capital, Tuesday May 4.  Note the time for us in Florida for Eastern Time is 3 pm.

As a matter of note, when we requested letters sent to SRWMD to stop our Nestle permit, we had many letters of support from Colorado.  Let’s now reciprocate and do our part to help them out and help stop bottled water and its plastic pollution.

Clearly this transfer is not permitted without approval from the county so we can do our part to protect the citizen’s water from privatization.

Public comments will be taken regarding the sale of Nestle Waters North America to the private equity group, One Rock Capital, and the billionaire investor, Dean Metropoulos. The company’s new name is BlueTriton Brands.

Will the commissioners allow a transfer of the permit to the new entity? Or invoke the section (4.6) in the permit, which was intended for protection from this very scenario?
Section 4.6: “Permittee may transfer this Permit to any 51% Nestle S.A. owned subsidiary with written notice to the County. In the case of any other transfers, this Permit may be transferred to another party only with the written consent of the Permit Authority…”
Live public comment will be open at the Chaffee County Board of County Commissioners meeting Tuesday, May 4th at 1 pm Mountain Time. Participate in the meeting via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/109079543 or call 1-669-900-6833 and enter meeting ID # 109 079 543.
