This road to nowhere will destroy our roads and wildlife. NO!!!!!

I am a Columbia county resident. Our eco system is already in enough trouble. I love that I can still see wildlife coming through my yard, and while taking a ride through the woods and country. We do not need, or want these roads here!!!
I am not in favor of these roads which will destroy fragile ecologies and encourage more development in along their routs.
Something to consider and to educate ourselves regarding toll roads in Florida. Toll roads are primarily self-financed and are not funded with taxes. No tax money is used to build, operate, or maintain them. They are user funded. So making an argument that this is a “waste of taxes” is incorrect. It will be necessary to fight them on other positions – environmental impacts, public opposition, wrong forecasting of future usage, etc. Fight smarter. It’s the only way to have any hope of winning.
Toll roads tend not to support themselves and thus require general fund bailouts. “User funded” is a myth designed to garner public support. It is unrealistic to expect that this “road to nowhere” will buck that trend.
We already have public roads we’ve already paid for. This is a waste of tax payer’s money.
This toll roads is unnecessary, use US 19 instead, fix it up, it is a perfect route to leave Florida. Our tax money is better served on Education, health and the environment.
We strongly oppose more asphalt in Florida. It disrupts the free movement of wildlife and reduces desperately needed habitat, not to mention water issues. Please deny this request.
Our state is already over run and over paved—–the state is being ruined by to much development. This will just open up more rural areas for more development. Please no more toll roads!!!
MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND I STRONGLY OPPOSE TO THESE ROADS. THEY ARE NOT NEEDED, AND WOULD BE A WASTE OF MONEY.
THEY WOULD DESTROY OUR PRECIOUS ENVIRONMENT WHICH WE DESPERATELY NEED.
