The seventh annual Iche Nippy Dip Day celebration of springs took place on Jan. 4 with many enthusiastic dippers, although the weather was wet but less than nippy. As always, the initial plunge into the water was brisk, but coming out was warm and no shivering was noticed.
The park staff was out in force with many information points, hot coffee, cocoa, anniversary cake and chili. New this year was a huge food bus offering a large variety of things to eat.
