Thanks to SouthWings, Suwannee Riverkeeper John Quarterman, WWALS  and to Harriet Heywood and the other Citrus County and Marion County WWALS members who helped organize and finance the flight over the Sabal Trail on Feb. 7.    The first image is looking northwest, and shows the pipeline corridor crossing the Withlacoochee River.  The highway on the left is CR 39.  Highway 200 is parallel to the bottom of the picture, just out of view.   The Dunnellon compressor station will be built to the right, following the power lines and corridor to where it intersects Hwy 200.  Thanks to Janet Barrow for the geographical interpretation and orientation.

ST Flight Apex2

This photo is looking northeast and shows I-75 on the bottom and the Florida Turnpike on  the top.  The pipeline corridor is in between, and makes a 45 degree angle to the right and crosses the turnpike.  It passes within a few hundred feet of a group of houses in the upper center of the picture.   Photos by Our Santa Fe River, flight made possible by WWALS.
