Calling on everyone to attend an important public input meeting for O’Leno State Park, River Rise State Park and Dudley Farm on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at the Alachua Woman’s Club at 5-7pm.
We are concerned about new RV sites at O’Leno and River Rise State Parks and any and all development that might change our natural resources, especially impacts to the river and springs.

The purpose of this meeting is to receive public input on proposed improvements and facilities at both O’Leno State Park and River Rise Preserve State Park.
Background
O’Leno State Park is a 2,372-acre property located in Alachua and Columbia County near High Springs. River Rise Preserve State Park, also in Alachua and Columbia County, is a 3,771.86-acre property located near High Springs. Both parks are managed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Recreation and Parks (DRP).
