OSFR Events Director Sandy Hubbard has sent out the following email:
Our Saturday June 4 Santa Fe paddle will be a “Summer Afternoon Wine-Down.” No shuttle for this one. We will put in at the High Springs boat ramp off 441, just beyond (north of) Winn Dixie and downstream of Canoe Outpost. Meet at 6PM. Bring your boat (and everything to make it legal), the cold beverage of your choice and maybe a snack to share. We will paddle toward River Rise for about an hour, then group up and float/paddle back to cars before full dark.
The cool swamp of Hornesby Spring run would have been my first choice for this one but there’s little chance it will be wet enough to paddle. So…another time. Please email a phone or text number if you plan to attend, in case the weather is questionable at last minute.
Paddle on,
Sandy

Olive very close to here.
Okay then. You are the paddle lady!
Not a picnic…Wine Down. Probably won’t make it to the rise. Fun. Trust me.
Probably hour and a half to end. Flat ground there (park). Don’t wine much but can get down haha.
Walter Bickmeyer Late day. Paddling upstream for about an hour, grouping up for a “Wine Down” paddle/float back to the takeout.
Yeah my phone acting weird, maybe low battery, link wouldn’t come up. I live there, paddled often. No houses after our area, nice paddle 3+ hours. Thanks Terry & Sandy!
Going. Where we paddling to?
Can you click on the link? There is more info there. June 4th, from 441 boat ramp up to River Rise and then back. Not sure but probably picnicking at the park.
