The following is from the SRWMD web site.  Zone 8, on the Santa Fe can better be defined as:  beginning 4 1/4 mi upstream from the confluence with the Ichetucknee River to the confluence with the Suwannee River, including the Ichetucknee River up to the U.S. Hwy 27 Bridge.

No Wake Zone Notices

The Suwannee River Basin’s Zones 1 and 8 idle-speed, no-wake zones are now activated, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). These idle-speed, no-wake zones are activated when the Suwannee River and tributaries at locations identified in Florida Administrative Code Chapter 68D-24.020 reach specified elevations.

Zone 1: From the U.S. 90 Bridge at Ellaville south to the State Road 51 Bridge at Luraville.

Zone 8: From the unnamed island located at 29′ 54.527′ N, 82′ 46.074′ W to the confluence of the Suwannee and Santa Fe rivers.
