OSFR Represented on State-wide Water Forum
Board member Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson represented OSFR on a forum put together and hosted by Florida Representative Anna Eskamani which included recognized water experts who are concerned for Florida’s water future, long imperiled by our current and previous lack of Tallahassee leadership. The forum took place on Wednesday evening, December 16. Members are identified in the image below.
Finding a legislator who truly cares for the water in Florida is about as common as catching a leprechaun with his gold so we are truly appreciative of Rep. Eskamani and the work she is doing for all citizens in Florida.
We are so sick and tired of those legislators and politicians who claim to be water champions but are simply insulting environmentalists while trying to fool their constituents and themselves as well. We wish them no good luck, and they are many.
As with Rep. Eskamani, we also have a rare treasure in Merrillee who labors tirelessly in her mission to educate and inform. In the video you can access at this link, you will find her at about 43:09 – 47:51 and again at the ending comments.
OSFR thanks Rep. Eskamani, Merrillee and the panel members for their contributions to improving our water crisis in Florida
