OSFR will be handing out postcards to send to SRWMD Board members to request a denial for the Seven Springs/Nestle water permit on Friday Jan 29, at the High Springs Farmer’s Market, 23517 185th Rd, from 3 to 6 pm.
On Sat. Jan. 30 cards will be handed out at the 441 Alachua Farmer’s market at 5920 NW 13th St. in Gainesville from 9 to 12 am.
Quite likely we will also have the free cards on Sat., Jan. 30 in High Springs at the intersection by the traffic light, in the pm.
At the moment the only thing Seven Springs needs to obtain the water permit is the SRWMD Board approval. The Board will likely vote on this sometime in Feb. We need to flood the District with postcards asking them to deny the permit.
