The OSFR River cleanup, combined with Current Problems was a big event with a lot of people and a really nice day. About 20 people got in boats and picked up trash with a good showing from the members and leadership.
About 220 pounds of unwanted garbage were brought out of the depths and from along the banks, including one auto tire and a bike frame.
Other than a few people being stranded at Rum Island with no transportation back to Hwy 27, everything went well, and we lost no members to drownings, gators, or other mishaps. Thank you everyone!
