Suwannee Riverkeeper John Quarterman brought together a great group of people who presented the latest information on Sabal Trail and the struggle to shut it down. Many speakers were present and the meeting went like clockwork, thanks to the great planning and the stern but gracious watchful eye of Gretchen Quarterman.

The large and congenial audience was very supportive of the presentations, and at the same time grateful for the discipline because many came from long distances, some such as CC Scofield, far south in Martin County.
OSFR was well represented, in speakers as well as attendees, and among them were Billie Jo Benedict, Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson, Cindy Noel, Mike Roth, Marihelen Wheeler and your historian. The Tallahassee Floridians Against Fracking group also sent at least four, Herb , Bill, John and Pat. Residents and leaders from the two camps were also present.
All in all a very informative and inspiring meeting and hats off to Suwannee Riverkeeper and all those who participated.
