Stacie Greco has distributed the following notice of the up-coming Forum.
The springs forum was created by concerned citizens to create a forum where government officials, professionals, and the public can discuss the issues and solutions to protecting our local springs. ACEPD coordinates quarterly meetings, which are open to the public, for the working group.
To learn more about the group and our local springs visit www.SantaFeRiverSprings.com or view this Fact Sheet.
Stacie Greco’s Forums are always informative and fun. You will enjoy yourself and learn if you attend.
The next Santa Fe Springs Protection Forum will be from 9:30 – 4:00 PM Thursday April 14 at O’Leno State Park. We will mainly be focused on submerged vegetation. I have attached the agenda. Lunch will be provided by Environmental Consulting and Technology (ECT). Please RSVP HERE by 4/11 if you would like to enjoy the provided lunch. April is a beautiful time of year to enjoy O’Leno, so consider walking the River Trail after the meeting!
Also- the Springs Celebration and Chili Cook Off is on Saturday April 2nd at O’Leno. HERE is the Facebook invite. Please share widely and come celebrate with us!
Thank you.
