March to protest the water bottling permit for Seven Springs Water Company who plans to sell 1,152,000 gallons of freshwater daily to Nestle International.
Its our public water supply found in the Floridan aquifer and we will not give it up easily. Petition the Suwannee River Water Management District to DENY this unreasonable use of our public water supply which is our drinking water and beneficial for aquatic eco-systems downstream and upstream.
This water grab does NOT serve the public interest.
Come early with signs and props, mermaids and anti-bottled water themes.
Park near the High Springs Chamber of Commerce Train Depot for staging at 6 pm.
Speakers will be at 7 PM, in the green space in between Main Street and the Brewery of High Springs.
