We have an excellent new video to present which gives several experts’ viewpoints and explanations on what is happening in North Central Florida with a single family attempting to continue to make millions every year by pumping water out of Ginnie Springs and selling it to Nestle. This is groundwater owned by the people of Florida and whose withdrawal negatively affects the springs and river which are already damaged. The river flows less because of this private pump and a natural treasure belonging to the people of Florida is thus diminished for private gain by a single business.
“That pump from Ginnie Springs is taking out this water every day and it’s on right now and we have to stop the pump.”
Our thanks to the participants in this excellent film: OSFR board members Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson, co-founder and ex-president of OSFR; Bob Knight of Florida Springs Institute, water scientist and defender of our rivers and springs; Mike Roth, president of OSFR, and OSFR member and supporter Laura Dailey.
Heartfelt thanks to Ezra Remer, producer of this video who took the time and effort to tell this important story. All photos are from his video and we appreciate his permission to repost here.

This is indeed an excellent film, on all points.
