In his new documentary, HOW TO LET GO OF THE WORLD AND LOVE ALL THE THINGS CLIMATE CAN’T CHANGE, Josh Fox continues to use his deeply personal style in investigating climate change – the greatest threat our world has ever known. Traveling to 12 countries on 6 continents, the film acknowledges that it may be too late to stop some of the worst consequences and asks, what is it that climate change can’t destroy? What is so deep within us that no calamity can take it away?

The film premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival this January to seven standing ovations and has been awarded the Documentary Award for Environmental Advocacy by the Washington D.C. Environmental Film Festival.

Fox and his team are partnering with local grassroots groups across the country to bring the film to 100 communities like Jacksonville that are on the frontlines of climate change. As many of you know we’ve been working to stop the oil and gas industry efforts to use seismic airgun blasting for exploration off our coast and the oil drilling rigs it could lead to. Northeast Florida’s pristine beaches, coastal ecosystems and marine life, including many endangered, species are too precious to expose to this dirty and dangerous industry.

We’re already seeing the impacts of climate change. Now is the time for communities to come together to take action to stop fossil fuel development and transition to 100% renewable energy. That’s what the LET GO AND LOVE TOUR is all about.

We need you to be a part of this important moment for our community and planet. See you on April 6th!  Questions? Contact Erin Handy 904-885-1348
