Thanks to Debra Johnson for the following news.  Is Sabal Trail expecting a disaster?  Debra added the following comment:

 This has happened here and almost everywhere:  the one time paltry $$ Sabal Trail Bribes with is just that, a one time thing.  For the citizens this is a lifetime of worry and possible ruination of our lives and probable disaster.

County Receives $20,000 from Sabal Trail

 Attached picture: The Board of County Commissioners accept a contribution from Sabal Trail Transmission, LLC, which will be applied to the debt service on the emergency radio system upgrade recently purchased by the County.

Representatives from Sabal Trail presented a contribution to the Board of County Commissioners in the amount of $20,000 at yesterday’s regular meeting. The check represents their commitment to Citrus County and the communities along the proposed pipeline route and was presented by Andrea Glover, Director of Stakeholder Outreach for Sabal Trail Transmission. Sabal Trail recognizes the importance of disaster preparedness and to the first responders in our community, and this contribution will be applied to the debt service on the emergency radio system recently purchased by the County.
