Additional rainfall overnight is already causing rises at upper Suwannee and Withlacoochee gages. The NWS predicts that lower Suwannee gages will continue to fall, but at a much slower rate. The SteinhatcheeRiver is rising rapidly after nearly 10″ of rain in northern Dixie and southern Lafayette counties.

Suwannee and lower Santa Fe gages continue to fall. Idle-speed/no-wake restrictions remain on the Suwannee from US 90 to Fowler’s Bluff, and on the lower Santa Fe.
