Our able events director, Sandy Hubbard, has written the following:

Paddle:   47 Bridge to 129 Bridge:

Join me and OSFR for this paddle, 12 miles, all downstream. The Santa Fe is wider here, as we near the Suwannee.  Expect the trip to take about 6-7 hours.  I don’t think the outfitters do rentals to 129, so you will need a boat.  Also bring lunch and liquids.  We will pass the confluence of the crystal clear Ichetucknee.  We will do our own shuttle.  Please email me for meeting time and place, as I need a headcount for the shuttle.

Our Santa Fe River, Inc is a Florida not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization composed of concerned citizens working to protect the waters and lands supporting the aquifer, springs and rivers within the watershed of the Santa Fe River. We do this by promoting public awareness pertaining to the ecology, quality, and quantity of the waters and lands immediately adjacent to and supporting the Santa Fe River, including its springs and underlying aquifer.
