Bob Knight Explains Hydrogeology to an Interested Audience

OSFR advisor Bob Knight’s second episode of Springs Academy Tuesdays, on May 3, 2016, drew a large crowd who learned about the aquifer, groundwater recharge, and spring flows.  All chairs were occupied and people were standing in the back and sides.  Several officers and board members of OSFR were among those in the crowd.

Lots of sound information about the aquifer and springs was presented in a clear and understandable manner.

Four more segments of the series are planned.  The next one, “Springs Chemistry – General, Nutrients, Trace Contaminants,” will be presented on June 7, 2016, at the North Florida Springs Environmental Center, 99 NW First Street in High Springs, and 12 o’clock noon.

Come early to get a seat.
