Thanks to Lucinda Merritt of Ichetucknee Alliance for the following information:

Dr. Bob Knight, who is the director of the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute and a member of the Alliance’s advisory board, is running a series of “Springs Academy Tuesdays” designed to educate people about our freshwater springs. The events take place once a month at the new North FL Springs Environmental Center, 23695 W. U.S. Highway 27, High Springs FL (the old High Springs street address, which is more familiar to most people, is listed on the attached flyer). The building is across the street from the High Springs New Century Woman’s Club and catty-corner from City Hall.

Here’s the web page link:
And the flyer (with dates & time) is below. Please share this information with anyone you know who might be interested. Thanks!

Friends & Other Advocates - Part of Our mission here at Our Santa Fe River is to inform the public about issues pertaining to the water quality and quantity of the Santa Fe River. We do that in many ways including posting articles here on Our website. To that end, we use many articles from many different sources. So we send out a huge THANK YOU to all of those friends and other advocates who give their time and energy by writing about what matters most to us, protecting Our Santa Fe River and letting us republish those items here on our website.
