Fifty Years of Environmental Law – Virtual and FREE!

The conference theme for PIEC 28 will be Fifty Years of Environmental Law. It has been fifty years since the establishment of many landmark environmental statutes and agencies in the 1970s. Our conference explores the legacy of American environmental policy with a strong focus on the modern applicability and potency of statutes that all share 50^th anniversaries in the year 2022. The conference will consist of panels that will facilitate discussion by experts on environmental policy issues relating to the Clean Water Act, the Florida Water Resources Act, the Clean Air Act, and Florida’s emerging environmental issues.  

IMPORTANT PIEC 28 UPDATE: In an abundance of caution regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, PIEC 28 will be a 1-day virtual conference on February 11, 2022. It is of the greatest importance to us to safeguard the health and well-being of our community and we look forward to hosting a wonderful event virtually.
