A large group perhaps more than 100 people turned out in Melrose on Sat. Oct. 28 to eat some good food, listen and dance to great music, and help stop the mine in order to keep our planet a little cleaner.
Such was the fundraiser at Mossman Hall, organized to raise money by Our Santa Fe River, Santa Fe Lake Dwellers, and Citizens Against Phosphate Mining. Every cent that came in will go to helping keep Union and Bradford Counties the beautiful place they are today, and keeping the Santa Fe River as we love it.
You can help by donating today to one of these organizations.

Job well done! The networking that was done by Our Santa Fe River, Santa Fe Lake Dwellers, and Citizens Against Phosphate MIning was great. Nice way to raise everyone’s spirits and stay happily focused. I see tee shirts on a table at the event. Are they still for sale? If so, what size(s) are still available? I will gladly buy one!
