FWC Springs Protection Zone meeting for the Weeki Wachee River Tuesday August 2.

This issue is about the Weeki Wachee, but as we are concerned with the Ichetucknee, we need to see how it is done, who attends, etc. and learn from this.
Per Florida Administrative Register advertisement for this workshop– “Staff will provide an overview of a request received by the Commission to establish a Springs Protection Zone along the Weeki Wachee River between the upstream boundary at the State Park to the Rogers Park boat ramp canal, pursuant to Section 327.45, Fla. Stat. and rule 68D-24.0035, F.A.C.”
