Four more years of Gov. Rick Scott and his Department of Environment Protection secretary will be nothing but a continuing and unprecedented disaster for Florida’s springs.
In today’s Gainesville Sun, Lucinda Faulker Merritt, of Fort White, FL, has written a rebuttal to Herchel Vinyard’s article last week in the Sun implying that Florida’s caretaker of the rivers and springs, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, is fulfilling its obligations.
