Exploring the Source: a Mothers Day Paddle

Lake Santa Fe, Mark Chiappini

The Upper Santa Fe River, above O’Leno, begins as overflow from rainwater fed Lake Santa Fe and Little Lake Santa Fe. We will be hosting a Mothers Day Paddle into Lake Santa Fe with Melrose native Mark Chiappini.

To secure a spot, register at this link before May 5th. We are keeping the group small with fewer than 20 tickets available.

From Melrose Bay, Lake Santa Fe, and Little Lake Santa Fe, our river is born. Come join us for a Mothers Day Paddle as we explore the Santa Fe Rivers’ birthplace with Melrose native and water advocate, Mark Chiappini.

We will meet at the Melrose Bay Park at 25500 Devonia St, Melrose, Fl. at 9 am.  Ticket prices include member and non-member rates. We also have an arrangement with DJ’s, a local outfitter, for single or double kayak rentals.

This is a beginners level kayaking tour. Remember to wear sun protective clothing, bug repellant, and bring plenty of fluids and snacks.
