Things do not look good for the Twin Pines mining threat near the Okefenokee Swamp, as the State of Georgia has issued draft permits for this mining.
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division is depl0ying a written public comment opportunity and also a Zoom meeting for verbal comments.
If you follow the links please note that early registration is important because there are limitations on the comments.
It is incredible that the State of Georgia has not shut down this untrustworthy sham of a mining company after all the local and national opposition.
Please let Georgia know they have a responsibility to preserve the treasure that is Okefenokee, and likewise, they DO NOT have the right to allow it to be destroyed for a bit of money.
