The following was sent by David Hill. The DOT wants to wield their power and turn a two-lane highway into a four-lane right through the forest. This is unacceptable development in a national forest where the forest was made to preserve nature and the land. Roads bring development and too many people.
We have seen the DOT in action when they wanted to build new toll roads. They do not play fair, they withhold information and they try their utmost to stack the deck in their favor.
