Iche Nippy Dip Day for 2024, originally scheduled for January 6, was was postponed but now rescheduled for February 10.
So now it is that time of year again to make the journey to the headspring of the Ichetucknee River to may homage to the springs and participate in the yearly celebration.
We need no excuse nor reason to celebrate the springs, but on this day springs lovers unite in celebration of one of nature’s wonders.
Those who work to save the springs and rivers are rarely treated to successes and perhaps this is why it is always inspiring to experience fellowship with like-minded friends of the springs.
The following information is taken from the Lake City Reporter, which has run the article for several days.
