Simple facts: a large majority of Florida’s citizens want our springs, rivers and aquifer protected, but when they vote in legislation to do this, their elected representatives do not follow the law.
Way too many Florida legislators ignore their constituents’ wants and as soon as they are elected they immediately begin to follow their personal agendas and to begin campaigning for their next election.
The DEP and our water management districts are blatantly failing to protect anything except industry so this constitutional amendment seems our only hope to save our springs, rivers and aquifer.
