A huge mural of a map of the extent of the Santa Fe River now has come to life on a wall in downtown High Springs. On the east wall of the Adventure Outpost building, countless volunteers have contributed their talents to create a full color map of the length of the river. A group gathered around Lars Andersen, river guide, author and OSFR advisor, and Kristina Young, program director for the Smithsonian Museum on Main Street at High Springs, at about 7:30 pm on Tuesday, August 23.
