RiverFest POSTPONED
Due to concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Our Santa Fe River, Inc. board of directors and RiverFest Committee has decided to postpone two of the RiverFest 10th Annual Fundraiser events. They include the RiverFest Plant Hike March 21st, 2020 and the RiverFest Singer/Songwriting Contest March 29th, 2020. The date rescheduled for the RiverFest Plant Hike is October 3rd, 2020. The new date for the RiverFest Singer/Songwriting Contest is October 11th, 2020. The RiverFest Springs Hop w/Lars Anderson for March 28th, 2020 is currently planned to go on as scheduled.
After considering the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, the OSFR board has decided that an abundance of caution is warranted. Specifically, the CDC direction includes: “postponing non-essential meetings and travel”.
Based off this recommendation, we rescheduled the events as specified, unless conditions warrant otherwise. Stay tuned for updates as the dates approach.
Paid advance event tickets, Silent Auction donations, raffle donations, and program ads will transfer to the events held in October. Refunds and/or changes associated with the two RiverFest events will be granted upon request. Song contestants that were selected to perform at the RiverFest Singer/Songwriting contest are asked to perform on the new date chosen in October. We reserve the right to ask for additional contestants to qualify for the contest in October.
