I first paddled a clear kayak a few years ago, through the bioluminescence of the Indian River Lagoon, and it’s an experience I will never forget. I’ve since paddled in a clear kayak on Rainbow River (where an otter swam below us, clearly visible through our clear kayaks), Silver River (where we watched as manatees rested below), Rock Springs Run, and Crystal River. It’s an amazing way to experience Florida’s springs, there’s just nothing else like it.

But you can’t walk into just any local shop and buy yourself a clear kayak. I treat my out-of-town guests to tours by Get Up and Go Kayaking, a clear kayak tour company with locations all around Florida, because I know it will give them the best view of the springs I love so much.

Knowing that we depend entirely on donations to conduct our springs protection work, Get Up and Go has offered to give the same tough but crystal clear polycarbonate clear kayak that they use on their tours to one lucky Springs Donor, to make your donation a little more rewarding. You can even make a donation and gift your entry to someone else!
This is an amazing kayak. But the opportunity to win one of your own won’t last long.
Until May 24thevery $20 donation made through this link
earns an entry to win.

Having a strong advocate for Florida’s springs matters, so we continue to monitor the rules, laws, policies, and actions that determine the health of our springs. We are in court, fighting the water use permit that allows Nestle (now BlueTriton) to bottle our springs, as well as a case focusing on the state’s failure to provide springs cleanup plans (BMAPs) that will actually restore our springs. Thank you for being a part of these important springs protection efforts.

Best wishes,
