Please help to ban fracking in Florida by making three quick calls. The people of Florida do not want fracking, and we are on the verge of getting it stopped. These calls take less than 5 minutes and they will help make a big difference!
We believe that the decision is ultimately going to be made by House Speaker Richard Corcoran who decides what bills move forward or don’t.
Please keep up the call ins to Rep. Raschein and Sen. Bradley, but also add Speaker Richard Corcoran, who can be reached at 888-925-7006, and ask that he makes sure that HB 451 is heard by Chairwoman Raschein during the next committee meeting.
Here are the three steps we’re asking you to take:
- Please contact Representative Raschein at 1-855-971-2589 and tell her staff that you are calling today to urge the Representative to bring HB 451 to a vote in her committee.
- Please contact Senator Bradley at 1-866-583-2908 and tell his staff that you 1) thank him for voting the right way in the first committee and 2) ask that he schedule SB 442 for its next committee hearing next week.
- Please contact Speaker Corcoran at 888-925-7006 and ask that he makes sure that HB 451 is heard in committee next week by Chairwoman Raschein.Comments by OSFR historian Jim Tatum.
