The following announcement is from Kristin Rubin, ex-president of OSFR. Following her letter are some photos of random objects which will be available on the silent auction. This is only a sample and there are almost 100 items in all. There are original paintings, photos, books, jewelry and many handcrafted items. Many of these are by local artisans and/or related to the Santa Fe River.

To all lovers of our springs, our rivers everywhere and the Floridan Aquifer,
Our annual fundraising event RiverFest, that honors the Santa Fe River with written, spoken and sung words about the Santa Fe River is being celebrated this Sunday, March 26, 1 pm to 7 pm.
One of our major events is our Silent Auction and this year a huge thanks goes out to all those that have donated items, time and energy.
From the artwork to those that made the photographs possible to be posted. A special thanks goes to Jill Rubin, an incredible daughter, and Joanne Tremblay of OSFR for assembling this montage in the last days of preparation for Facebook and for our OSFR historian Jim Tatum for the newsletter.
There are up to 60 items photographed and another 37 items that you will have to wait and see this Sunday, March 26.
