While Bradenton County’s commissioners’ ponderings are not housed in the Santa Fe River basin, the problem of developers chipping away at building regulations is one that affects and poses risks to us all.
Developers cannot refrain from pecking away at regulatory boards or any agency which they perceive to pose obstacles to their greed. We see it over and over again.
That the consultant DeLisi is tied to the name Carlos Beruff says it all and leaves no doubt where the loyalties lie.
Developers put consultants in their pockets and they target weak commissioners who put dollars over environment. It goes on and on.
Manatee County has seen it all before and has succombed.
Wishing for wisdom and backbones for the Manatee commissioners.
