A perfect day for the Blues Cruise, enjoyed by about 20 participants, who launched from the Hwy 27 bridge and floated down to the Lazy Turtle Lodge just below  Lily Springs.  There the lucky paddlers found a beautiful lawn and beautiful music by which to enjoy their lunch.

The lunch break was hosted by OSFR member Lance Scott and past President Pam Smith, with OSFR tabling by board member and treasurer Cindy Noel.  The music lasted until about 1:30, at which time the group continued to take-out at Rum Island Park.

Happy paddlers

This was but one more facet of OSFR’s awesome and legendary RiverFest 2018, soon to culminate this Sunday March 25 at OSFR headquarters Rum 138.
