The Florida Times Union in Jacksonville is the latest newspaper to publish the anti-fracking opinion piece by OSFR president Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson and historian Jim Tatum.
Since the Times Union boasts a daily readership of 287,937, OSFR is pleased to reach the large audience served in this area, in order to help make known hydraulic fracturing’s growing threat to our aquifer and the air we breathe.
OSFR is currently working hard to encourage counties and cities to adopt ordinances prohibiting fracking within their jurisdictions.
Our gratitude goes to Editor Mike Clark and the Times Union for printing the editorial, which can be read at this link.
